David Davis

Executive Director

Founder and Executive Director, David Davis, was the primary caregiver for this mother, who lived with Alzheimer’s for eleven years. His maternal grandmother and aunt also had the disease. His father died at the age of 59 from alcohol-related dementia.

Melissa Smith

MA, LMHC

Melissa is the Founder of Caregiver Wellness Resources, and is dedicated to the well-being of caregivers. She is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) an educator in Restorative and Sustainable Yoga, International retreat leader, Alzheimer's and other Dementias Caregiver Advocate, and Mindfulness Well-being Educator. She is a long time Partner with the MCA.

Audrey Hattie

Audrey is a member of Zuni Pueblo and director for the Zuni Senior Center and adult day care program. She is currently on the board of the New Mexico Indian Council on Aging and is a strong advocate for improving the lives of elder Native Americans in New Mexico.

George Ginsberg

George has resided in Santa Fe for 50 years and is retired from a career advising private sector, government and Tribal employers in designing Employee Benefit plans. He has been providing care for his wife Shelly who was diagnosed with Dementia in 2017. George attends Memory Care Alliance Men's Caregiver meetings held every Friday and is grateful for the kindness and support that the Memory Care Alliance offers to the community.
