David Davis

Executive Director

Founder and Executive Director, David Davis, was the primary caregiver for this mother, who lived with Alzheimer’s for eleven years. His maternal grandmother and aunt also had the disease. His father died at the age of 59 from alcohol-related dementia.

Dori Ramsay

Retired

Dori worked as an Executive Director for the YWCA of Orange County, and Director of Services for Battered Women before working for the City of Los Angeles.

Henry Varela

Co-Owner of NovoComm Strategies

Henry is the Co-Owner of NovoComm Strategies, a marketing firm that concentrates on helping non-profits and businesses enhance their communication efforts to the public. Having a grandmother who struggled with dementia, Henry has always strived to help others who are struggling too.

Karen St. Clair

Founder of the Santa Fe Parkinson’s Action Group

Karen St. Clair is the founder of the Santa Fe Parkinson’s Action Group, started in response to the lack of support groups and services for those living with Parkinson’s, like her husband, Rob Barteletti.

Audrey Hattie

Audrey is a member of Zuni Pueblo and director for the Zuni Senior Center and adult day care program. She is currently on the board of the New Mexico Indian Council on Aging and is a strong advocate for improving the lives of elder Native Americans in New Mexico.

Melissa Smith

MA, LMHC

Melissa is the Founder of Caregiver Wellness Resources, and is dedicated to the well-being of caregivers. She is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) an educator in Restorative and Sustainable Yoga, International retreat leader, Alzheimer's and other Dementias Caregiver Advocate, and Mindfulness Well-being Educator. She is a long time Partner with the MCA.
